How much does a private villa cost in Canggu, Bali?
Private luxury villas in Canggu range from $150 to $800+ per night depending on size, location, and amenities. Evarah Collection's 3-bedroom villas in Padonan start from approximately $350 per night, which includes daily housekeeping, concierge, a private pool, and full kitchen access. That works out to around $115 per bedroom per night — significantly better value than equivalent hotel rooms in Canggu or Seminyak.
Rates vary by season: April to June and September to November offer the best prices, while July to August and Christmas/New Year are peak. Booking direct through evarahcollection.com always gets you the best rate — no platform commission markups.
Where is the best area to stay in Canggu?
For luxury villas, Padonan is the best area in Canggu. It's a quiet residential neighbourhood five minutes from Berawa's cafés, restaurants, and beach clubs — but set back from the tourist congestion of Batu Bolong and Echo Beach. Padonan has wide, quiet roads and a village feel that the main Canggu strip lost years ago. Both of Evarah Collection's villas — Villa Zoya and Nomad House — are in Padonan for exactly this reason.
Other good areas include Berawa (walkable to the beach, but busier and noisier) and Pererenan (quieter, but further from amenities and cafés). If you want the best of both — access and seclusion — Padonan is the answer.

Is a private villa better than a hotel in Bali?
For groups of 3 or more, almost always yes. A 3-bedroom villa at $350 per night split between 6 guests costs around $58 per person — less than a standard room at most Canggu hotels. You also get a private pool, a full kitchen, daily housekeeping, and the entire property to yourselves.
Hotels make more sense for solo travellers who want a social lobby, or for people who prefer on-site restaurants and room service. But for couples, friends, and families, a well-managed villa is better value and a better experience. The maths is simple: more space, more privacy, lower per-person cost.

How far is Padonan from Berawa Beach?
Padonan is approximately 5 minutes by scooter or 10 minutes by car from Berawa Beach. Batu Bolong Beach is about 7 minutes away. The Canggu café strip — including Milk & Madu, Crate Café, and KYND Community — is a 5-minute scooter ride. Seminyak is 20 minutes by car, and Ngurah Rai International Airport is approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic.
Is Canggu good for couples?
Canggu is excellent for couples — particularly Padonan, which has a quieter, more romantic feel than the main tourist strip. There's a strong café and restaurant scene within easy reach, sunset beaches, yoga studios, and rice field walks. Villa Zoya, with its Mediterranean arches and warm interiors, is particularly popular with couples and honeymooners looking for design-led accommodation that doesn't feel like a resort.
What is the best time to visit Bali in 2026?
The dry season runs from April to October, with April and May offering the best combination of good weather, lower prices, and fewer crowds. July and August are peak tourist season with the highest prices and busiest beaches. September and October are underrated — great weather, competitive rates, and thinner crowds. The wet season (November to March) brings daily afternoon showers but also lush green landscapes and the lowest prices. If you're flexible, late April or early September are the sweet spots.
